Hello Vet is built upon a simple principle; we believe that if we create the best place for our team to work, we’ll also create the best place for pets to receive care. We know the best care is delivered by happy, well-supported teams who are able to build personal, collaborative relationships with their clients. That’s why we allow clients to message our team any time, and even support their pets during procedures. We aim to restore the personal bonds that should underpin a client's relationship with their vet practice.
As the IT Support Specialist at Hello Vet, you will be a key technical enabler. This is a very hands-on position, where you will be dealing with on-site, in-person fixes, as well as remote support. You will be someone who can use their creativity to come up with solutions to problems and processes across our clinical settings & HQ. We are rapidly expanding our locations, and this will require regular travel to sites in and around London, with occasional out of hours or weekend work required.

- First line troubleshooting and fixing of IT support issues
- Providing training & onboarding support to new starters so that staff are set for success from day one
- Creating knowledge base & help guides for staff, and documentation for technical teams
- Help with the physical set up of new sites & locations as we expand, enrolling network devices, supporting a heavily macOS based infrastructure, with some Windows devices, audio visual, ensuring that systems are set up correctly, asset tagged, inventory checks and more
- Onboarding new starters, creating accounts and ensuring that the correct access is given, likewise removing accounts for staff members who have left
- Setting up and supporting devices, printers & triaging and providing support for clinical devices, handing off to third party suppliers when required
- Following processes for weekly/monthly checks across a wide range of technologies, e.g. ensuring devices are up to date and secured
- Work with technologies such as Mosyle MDM, Google Workspace, Okta IDP, Zoom telephony, Slack, macOS & Windows
You will be:
- Proficient in supporting macOS & Windows devices
- Have a good understanding of networking
- A friendly, approachable person
- Able to prioritise requests across multiple locations and teams
- Creative and comfortable adding your input to improve the IT function
- Confident working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels across different levels of technical proficiency
- Proven experience in a similar IT support role
- Experience in a startup environment is advantageous
This role will offer:
- £32,000 - £34,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays)
- Access to an L&D budget
- Equity in a growing startup company
- Access to our benefits discount platform
