About Us:
We’re a small, friendly structural engineering practice of 3–4 people based in London. We work closely as a team, sharing ideas and responsibilities, and we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, down-to-earth working environment. Our projects range across residential, small commercial, educational and refurbishment works, offering hands-on experience at all stages of design and delivery.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with around 2–3 years of experience to join us full-time in our Greenwich office. You’ll be involved in design, analysis, site visits, report writing, and coordination with architects and contractors. This is a great opportunity to take on responsibility and develop practical, well-rounded experience in a small, collaborative setting.
What We’re Looking For:
- A solid understanding of structural engineering principles
- Confident working knowledge of structural materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry)
- Familiarity with analysis and design tools – ideally TEDDS, Robot, and Excel
- Good written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Someone proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small team
- Ability to coordinate with external consultants and clients professionally
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Around 2 years of relevant industry experience ideally
- Familiarity with UK building regulations and Eurocodes
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application
- This is an in-person role based in Greenwich, London, so being within reasonable commuting distance is ideal
What We Offer:
- A supportive work environment
- Exposure to a variety of projects from early stages through delivery
- Close team collaboration and shared responsibility
- Flexibility where possible, though this is primarily an office-based role
- We don’t offer corporate perks – but if you’re looking to be hands-on, make an impact, and work as part of a small, motivated team, we’d love to hear from you.
