This is a fantastic opportunity to kick off the year by supporting young learners at a crucial stage in their development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to inspire confidence, nurture progress, and help every child thrive in a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting teachers in delivering creative and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support, including working with pupils who have additional learning needs.
- Helping to create a calm, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom materials.
- Encouraging independence, participation, and self-belief in pupils.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children in a UK school setting, or is eager to gain hands-on classroom experience.
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (preferred).
