Hello Education is working with a welcoming Primary School in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work with their SEN pupils. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils, building trust, confidence and academic progress through personalised support in a calm, structured setting.

About the role:

  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN
  • Support learning
  • Deliver structured, engaging sessions tailored to the pupils' individual needs
  • Help build confidence, independence and exam readiness
  • Work closely with school staff to follow learning plans and targets
  • All sessions will take place on-site within the school environment

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting young people with SEN (school, tuition or care settings)
  • Is confident supporting English and Maths
  • Is patient, calm and able to build positive relationships
  • Can adapt learning approaches to suit individual needs
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is happy to apply for one)
