The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Sales Manager with knowledge of influencer marketing and the creator economy to join the growing sales team to work on our creator conferences; converting incoming leads, generating new business, and driving exhibition and sponsorship revenue.
The Candidate
Our ideal candidate will lead from the front, proactively identifying and exploring new opportunities whilst nurturing existing relationships. You will have B2B event sales experience, but really the most important thing is that you have the right attitude, drive, and determination to build successful relationships with key decision-makers within our sector.
You\’ll be a great rapport builder, possess a consultative sales approach with solid objection handling skills, and won\’t be afraid to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.
You\’ll be someone who can own the whole commercial lifecycle, working to consistently exceed revenue targets.
You\’ll be joining a passionate team, led by our Portfolio Director and supported by our experienced Sales Director, and will be expected to immerse yourself in the industry (attending relevant events etc.) to make the role your own.
You are capable of developing and winning new business whilst continuing to strengthen relationships within an existing client portfolio.
You\’ll be a strong negotiator and possess exceptional time management and organisational skills to sell our wide portfolio of products.
Key Requirements Overview:
- Experience in B2B sales with a demonstrable successful sales record
- Event sales experience
- Knowledge and interest of the creator industry
- In-depth knowledge of the creator economy & digital marketing is not essential, but the ability to quickly grasp its fundamentals will be! Integrity and being a team player are equally key
- Flexible and able to work at pace within a highly demanding and at times pressurised environment
- Outstanding communicator, comfortable selling to senior decision makers/budget holders
- Consultative approach with a strong closing capability
- CRM experience (we use HubSpot)
- Hunger to exceed targets with a tenacious attitude
- Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills

We are based in central Bristol and have office space in central London. We are looking for a candidate with the right experience and drive to make and can be flexible on location.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per year (DOE and location) with additional £10k OTE.
