This role is focused on how we communicate with and engage our audience day to day. You’ll support the marketing team by planning, writing and delivering our core communications across email and social, ensuring our events consistently show up in the right way and stay front of mind with our community.
At the heart of the role is execution, but good execution. That means writing emails people actually want to read, building social content that drives engagement, and helping us maintain a consistent presence in the market. You’ll play a key role in keeping our audience warm, engaged and connected between campaign moments, supporting both audience growth and community development across PI LIVE, CreatorFest and our awards programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email & communications (We use HubSpot)
- Plan, build and deliver newsletters and campaign emails using HubSpot
- Write clear, engaging copy that drives opens, clicks and registrations
- Manage email scheduling, segmentation, and audience targeting
- Support optimisation of email performance (subject lines, content, timing)
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging and quality across all communications
- Social media execution
- Support delivery of social media across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
- Create and schedule posts that promote our events, speakers and key moments
- Repurpose content into short-form, engaging formats
- Monitor engagement and respond where appropriate to build community interaction
- Support live event social coverage (content capture, posting, real-time updates)
- Content & community support
- Support creation of community-led content (speaker clips, industry POVs, short-form video)
- Work with the wider team to amplify partner, sponsor and speaker content
- Spot opportunities to turn conversations and engagement into content
- Planning & coordination
- Support the management of the communications calendar across email and social
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure campaigns are delivered on time
- Assist in creative (design, video) where needed
Key Skills & Experience:
- ~1–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications or social media
- ~ Strong copywriting skills, particularly for email and social
- ~ Experience using HubSpot or similar email marketing platforms is a plus
- ~ Good understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram for B2B audiences
- ~ Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- ~ Comfortable using tools like Canva or Adobe Express
- ~ Interest in events, media or community-led brands
