We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Video Editor who specializes in short-form content. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in CapCut, understands TikTok culture, and can consistently produce engaging, high-performing videos that align with current trends and platform best practices. This role requires someone who can move fast, think creatively, and turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content.

Duties

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software such as CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Incorporate graphics, colour grading, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality.
  • Work closely with the creative team to understand campaign goals and produce compelling visual content that captures attention and drives strong viewership for our clients.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Maintain organised archives of all video assets for easy retrieval and future use.
  • Apply colour correction and optimise videos for various platforms including social media, websites, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality short-form videos using CapCut.
  • Create engaging TikTok videos optimized for performance (hooks, retention, watch time).
  • Stay up to date with TikTok trends, sounds, memes, and editing styles.
  • Implement trending effects, captions, transitions, and motion graphics.
  • Add engaging subtitles and dynamic text overlays.
  • Collaborate on content ideas and suggest trend-based concepts.
  • Deliver content on tight deadlines.

Experience

  • Proven experience in video editing within a professional environment or as part of a portfolio of personal projects.
  • Strong proficiency in CapCut & Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of videography principles and techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with video editing workflows and best practices for different digital platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of editing and content management.
