Your mission
We are looking for a highly organised, creatively ambitious Social Media & Content Manager to take full ownership of our social channels, with a strong emphasis on elevating and increasing our video output. You will execute the social strategy set by the Growth Manager and lead the planning, production, optimisation, and publication of all content across platforms. This role demands a leader with proven social videography content experience, strong fashion/editorial sensibilities, and the ability to use video as a primary growth engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Content & Social Ownership
- Lead the creative execution of all social content, ensuring alignment with business goals, seasonal campaigns, editorial priorities, and brand identity.
- Partner closely with the Growth Manager to translate channel strategy into actionable content and video plans that respond to performance insights.
- Oversee daily channel operations, including editing (stills + video), caption writing, scheduling, and publishing.
- Video Production & Series Ownership (Core Focus)
- Shoot high-quality video content using both smartphone and camera, with a strong understanding of framing, lighting, and audio.
- Demonstrated success in using short-form video to grow fashion/editorial social channels.
- Own and manage recurring social video franchises from ideation and storyboarding to talent coordination, shoot execution, and final delivery.
- Own and manage relationships with editors and commercial partners to ensure content is compelling, brand-aligned, and optimised for audience engagement.
- Create fast-paced, hook-driven videos tailored to platform behaviour and storytelling trends.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific video styles, algorithms, formats, and best practices (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Creative & Editorial Leadership
- Lead regular ideation sessions and editorial planning, transforming creative concepts into actionable production plans.
- Ensure every piece of content (editorial or commercial) meets brand tone, visual standards, and audience expectations.
- Own social analytics alongside the Growth Manager, with confidence in reporting and interpreting weekly KPIs and ad-hoc performance insights.
- Cross-Channel Planning & Coordination
- Build and maintain a comprehensive content calendar that integrates video series, product drops, commercial initiatives, and editorial storytelling.
- Coordinate across editorial, design, video, talent, and commercial teams to ensure smooth workflows and timely delivery.
- Asset Management & Visual Standards
- Source, organise, and maintain visual assets (imagery, clips, graphics), ensuring everything is high-quality and rights-cleared.
- Partner with designers and external contributors to uphold visual consistency and elevate aesthetic standards.
- Strong understanding of audio trends, rights management, and platform music policies.
- Channel Performance & Optimisation
- Optimise content for engagement, retention, and conversion across all social platforms and newsletters.
- Monitor video performance and audience feedback to proactively refine future content and improve results.
Your profile
- A proactive self-starter with exceptional organisation, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, as well as data comfortable and driven.
- Confident collaborative skills with experience working across creative, editorial, and commercial teams.
- Hands-on experience across the full video process from concepting and scripting to shooting, editing, and publishing.
- Social media SEO/caption writing experience.
- Strong editorial sensibility with excellent visual storytelling and brand guardianship.
Experience
- 5+ years' experience in social media, video production, or editorial content roles, ideally within a fashion or publisher environment.
- Experience and industry examples demonstrating video-led growth, strategic thinking, and high creative output.
- Direct experience managing video production workflows and multi-platform content calendars.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with Dash Hudson or similar social analytics tools is a plus (training will be provided).
