Your mission
The Style Editor is a key creative and commercial role within Hello! Fashion Magazine, responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality fashion content across print, digital, social and commercial platforms. This role combines editorial creativity with commercial awareness and operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead on fashion features and shopping content, oversee affiliate strategy and output, contribute to art direction and styling for shoots, and represent the brand across social and video channels. The Style Editor will work cross-functionally with editorial, digital growth, art, commercial and social teams to ensure cohesive storytelling, strong advertiser relationships and audience growth across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Editorial Content - Print
- Write and edit shopping and fashion features for the print magazine, including (but not limited to) Style Ip, Luxe for Less, Agenda and other recurring fashion sections.
- Generate original, creative and commercially aware ideas for fashion pages and features.
- Compile relevant, trend-led and seasonally appropriate product sections that will be available at time of production.
- Compile all product credits, ensuring advertiser obligations and agreed brand inclusions are delivered where appropriate.
- Liaise with production and art teams to make sure deadlines and flatplan requirements are met.
- Contribute feature ideas and pitch new fashion concepts to the Editor and wider team.
- Digital and Affiliate Content
- Lead shopping and affiliate content making sure it's strategically aligned with our performance goals.
- Write online fashion and shopping articles under the guidance of the Digital Growth Manager.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimise content accordingly.
- Identify new affiliate opportunities and trending products.
- Ensure consistency between print and digital content where relevant.
- Work closely with the commercial team to maximise monetisation opportunities without compromising editorial integrity.
- Newsletters
- Own and produce a weekly fashion newsletter, ensuring it aligns with brand voice.
- Conceptualise themes and curate compelling product edits and fashion stories.
- Track open rates and engagement, refining strategy in collaboration with Digital Growth Manager.
- Shoots
- Assist with shoot preparation including logistics, production schedules and call sheets.
- Support art direction, styling and mood boards for fashion and still life shoots under the guidance of our Art Lead.
- Attend and assist on set when required.
- Liaise with PRs and brands to acquire samples when needed.
- Social Media & Video Presence
- Contribute to and help shape H! Fashion's social strategy in collaboration with the Digital Growth Manager and Commercial Teams.
- Appear in social media videos including commercial projects where required.
- Act as a visible and credible fashion voice for the brand.
- Other
- Attend relevant press days and industry events to maintain brand awareness.
- Assist with office administration related to fashion content.
- Help with fashion show ticket requests and industry event attendance.
Your profile
- Confidently able to act as a visible and credible fashion voice for Hello! Fashion across social and commercial video.
- Actively engage in contributing to and supporting the art direction, styling and execution of fashion and still-life shoots.
- Able to ensure all shopping and affiliate content is strategically aligned with brand voice, performance targets and advertiser commitments.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Experience conceptualising, creating and overseeing engaging, trend-led and commercially successful fashion content across print and digital in a similar publication.
- Experienced in building and maintaining strong relationships with PRs, brands and commercial partners to identify editorial and revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- Further education in a related field and experience in a similar role required.
