Your Mission as a SEND Teaching Assistant:

1:1 Support Hero – Provide individualised support to pupils, particularly those on the autistic spectrum and those with SEMH needs.
Learning Partner – Make learning accessible, engaging, and fun in a safe and structured environment.
Behaviour Champion – Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques to promote focus and calm.
Confidence Builder – Empower pupils to grow in independence, confidence, and self-esteem.
Adaptability Extraordinaire – Work flexibly across age groups and needs, adapting to every unique classroom challenge.We’d Love to Hear from You If You:

Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs in either school or care settings.
Are calm, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
Understand the importance of creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
Have a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply for one).
Have Team Teach or de-escalation training (desirable but not essential).
