Hello Education is looking for exceptional Behaviour Support Assistants to join our dedicated teams across schools this September. You’ll be the steady hand and kind heart that helps pupils regulate, refocus, and achieve their potential – no matter the hurdles.

Responsibilities

  • Support & Guide: Work closely with students who may display challenging behaviours, providing calm and constructive support.
  • Create Safe Spaces: Help build a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel understood and respected.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to implement behaviour plans and strategies that really make a difference.
  • Positive Influence: Act as a role model, encouraging resilience, confidence, and personal growth.

Qualifications

  • Have experience working with children/young people with challenging behaviour (or the passion to develop these skills).
  • Remain calm, patient, and proactive in high-pressure situations.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong, respectful relationships with students and staff.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are happy to apply for one).
