Ready to lead an established homecare service with real scale? We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our Denton hub, delivering homecare across Manchester and Tameside. This is a well-established service with a strong team behind it — what we need now is the right leader to take it forward. This isn't a step-up role. We need someone who has already managed a busy domiciliary care service, knows what quality looks like on the ground, and can lead a team across a wide geographic patch without losing grip on the detail.
What the role involves:
- Leading day‑to‑day homecare operations across Manchester and Tameside, managing commissioned care contracts and their KPIs, developing your team, and maintaining CQC compliance across a large, busy patch.
- Managing budgets, owning service performance, and building strong relationships with commissioners, service users, and families.
What we need from you:
- Proven Registered Manager experience in domiciliary care — essential
- Experience managing commissioned or local authority homecare contracts
- Confident managing care packages at scale across a wide area
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Solid understanding of CQC standards in a domiciliary setting
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Commercial awareness — you'll own budgets and performance
What you'll get:
- Support structure including centralised HR, payroll, quality and marketing teams, an in-house recruitment function with zero agency use, ongoing training through Routes Academy, and regular access to senior leadership.
- £5,000 joining bonus — paid on successful completion of your 6‑month probationary period*
- Salary up to £65,000 plus performance bonus
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus your birthday off
- Buy and sell holiday scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme
*Joining bonus terms: A £5,000 joining bonus is payable upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period. Full terms will be confirmed at offer stage.
If you're an experienced domiciliary manager ready to lead a service you can be proud of, we'd like to hear from you.
