Location and Travel: This role is based at our Sunderland branch with the majority of your client visits taking place across the Sunderland and Newcastle areas. Routes also has a satellite branch in Newcastle. You'll predominantly be working in and around Sunderland with mileage reimbursed for travel to client visits so you can focus on what matters most — delivering great care.
Requirements:
- Someone passionate about putting people first
- At least 1 year's experience working in community care
- Organisational & time management skills
- A good understanding of CQC regulations
- Superb communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and their care team
- An NVQ in Health and Social Care would be a big bonus
- A full valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role, given the travel across the Sunderland and Newcastle area
Typical day to day will include:
- Developing care plans and risk assessments
- Overseeing the safe administration of medicines
- Undertaking observations, spot checks and Quality Assurance
- Completing and updating care records on our in‑house systems
- Assisting your Registered Manager to deliver a high-quality care service
- Managing on‑call duties on a rotating basis
