Job Summary: Responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects across multiple international communities and internal business functions. This role provides delivery leadership across projects, ensuring controlled and high-quality execution across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional projects. Develop and manage project artefacts including plans, RAID logs, reporting dashboards, dependency maps, and decision logs. Coordinate delivery across Technology, Product, Operations, Buyer Management, Business Development, Marketing and Finance teams. Ensure risks, issues, and dependencies are clearly identified, assessed, and actively managed.
- Governance & Reporting: Run project governance forums, ensuring clear decisions, accountability and progress tracking. Provide concise, insightful reporting to senior leadership including progress summaries, risk escalation and recommended actions. Ensure all projects align with prioritisation decisions and resource constraints across Development and QA teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and support clear communication throughout each project lifecycle. Challenge constructively, resolve conflicts and support effective decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement & Best Practice: Contribute to the development of project management frameworks, tools, and processes suitable for a fast-growing organisation. Apply lessons learned to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency across teams. Support capability development within the Programme Office.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge and Experience: Significant experience managing complex IT-enabled business change initiatives. Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles. Experience operating in resource-constrained environments requiring careful prioritisation and trade-offs. Proven success in leading cross-functional teams across multiple business areas. Experience running governance forums and preparing senior-level reporting.
- Qualifications and Skills: Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, APM). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders. High degree of organisation, analytical thinking and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and drive progress in ambiguous situations.
Further Information: The Company’s policy of blended working requires the postholder to work two designated days in the office and three days working from home. This policy may be reviewed from time to time.
