Teaching Assistant (Wrap Around Care provision)
Hellingly Community Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated and preferably experienced Teaching Assistant 2/3 to support our newly established Wrap Around Care provision. You will need to be able to work well with children from Reception age to Year 6 and have the energy and initiative to create a fun environment for our afterschool provision.
Responsibilities
- Manage pupils in accordance with the behaviour policy.
- Assist pupils with personal and medical care routines.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants ideally hold the Teaching Assistant 3 qualification, but this is not essential.
Hours and Duration
The role will run from 2:45pm to 5:45pm Monday to Thursday and 2:45pm to 4:45pm Friday. This is a temporary position initially starting on 1st September 2026 until 21st July 2027 but we hope to be able to make this a permanent position if the provision is well attended.
