HellermannTyton is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to drive efficiency, accuracy and excellence across our Plymouth site.

Location: 39 William Prance Road, Plymouth, Devon, PL6 5WR

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 – 14:30 on a Friday

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, staff supervision, safety compliance, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
  • Optimise warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency
  • Coordinate with operations, planning, procurement, and the sales team
  • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) and prepare operational reports
  • Manage warehouse equipment and oversee maintenance
  • Handle discrepancies, damages, and customer returns
  • Manage the annual stocktake

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role, with strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and logistics processes
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and problem-solve with a detail-oriented, proactive approach
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, balanced with collaborative teamwork
  • Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Results-driven, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Positive, change-ready approach, acting as a role model and supporting new starters' training
