Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 14:30

Quality Engineer - The Role: As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the site meets and maintains required Quality Standards. Working cross-functionally with operations and engineering teams, you will support product verification and testing activities, analyse data, conduct investigations, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation. You will be integral to supporting operational excellence and meeting customer expectations, contributing directly to our reputation as a market leader in cable management solutions.

Quality Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate customer complaints and returns, initiating appropriate action for long-term resolution
  • Support and drive the concerns process (8D investigation) to engineer quality into products
  • Ensure practices and processes comply with quality systems and policies
  • Play an active role in process improvement and implementation of change
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility studies and Advance Quality Planning for processes and products
  • Undertake internal audits, external supplier audits and monitor corrective action status
  • Analyse data and prepare business metric reports
  • Manage internal and external calibration systems, ensuring accurate records
  • Provide adhoc support to achieve business objectives

Quality Engineer - You:

  • Strong working knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO9001, AS9100 and ISO14001
  • Experience completing internal and external audits
  • Aware of quality core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D
  • Competent with Microsoft Office systems including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-oriented approach
  • Confident communicator able to engage with customers and internal teams
  • Proven ability to lead projects and drive continuous improvement
  • High level of self-management and organisational skills
