Helix Law is a busy and growing litigation firm based in the heart of Brighton. We are looking for a professional, personable, and highly organised receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and prospective clients contacting the firm. This is a key front-of-house role where you will represent Helix Law’s values through every interaction.

The Role

  • Answer incoming calls from clients and prospective clients in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Triage incoming enquiries and route calls to the appropriate team member
  • Capture accurate and detailed messages when required
  • Escalate urgent matters promptly to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain clear, organised and up-to-date call records
  • Provide a professional and positive first impression of the firm at all times
  • Contact suppliers and clients to verify or update account details
  • Carry out general administrative tasks to support the wider team

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Is calm, professional, and empathetic — particularly when speaking to clients involved in litigation
  • Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Can confidently manage a high volume of calls
  • Is reliable, punctual, and professional in presentation
  • Previous experience in a customer service, call handling, or receptionist role is desirable

Experience in a legal environment is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
