Position Overview Helix International is seeking a dedicated Quickbase Specialist to oversee the management, development, and enhancement of our Quickbase platform, ensuring it fully supports our operational workflows and business objectives. This role will be pivotal in enabling an agile and responsive platform environment, aligning Quickbase with Ark’s evolving needs and optimising the functionality of our core applications. Reporting directly to the IT Director, you will work closely with key stakeholders to enhance platform performance, lead ongoing developments, and drive process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive developer to make a meaningful impact within a forward-thinking risk and compliance environment. Responsibilities Platform Management: Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Quickbase applications used within Ark. Application Development & Enhancements: Design, develop, and implement new applications and features based on internal requirements to support our risk and compliance operations. Support & Maintenance: Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting and maintaining Quickbase applications, ensuring minimal operational disruptions. Process Automation: Implement workflow automations to streamline processes and improve efficiency across internal teams. Collaboration with IT Leadership: Partner with the IT Director to shape Quickbase’s strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with Ark’s broader business goals. Data Analytics & Reporting: Build reporting capabilities and data-driven insights within Quickbase to support informed decision-making across the organization. Requirements Manage and enhance Quickbase applications independently, adapting them to meet evolving business needs. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve Quickbase issues promptly, ensuring continuity in our operations. Document key processes and best practices to maintain a high level of platform knowledge within the team. Candidates Will Need Quickbase Expertise: a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in Quickbase application development, administration, and maintenance. Technical Skills: strong abilities in building applications, process automation, and data integration; experience with API integrations. Problem-Solving Ability: a proactive, solution-focused approach to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Project Management: experience managing development projects from initiation to deployment. Collaboration: ability to work closely with operations, IT, and senior leadership to meet strategic objectives. Documentation Skills: competence in documenting processes and developing best practices for platform management. Benefits We are offering a competitive package subject to qualifications, skills and experience. The role is full-time 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday. This is a remote position; however, you will be required to attend our London office from time to time.
