We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced scale-up environment and contribute to both day-to-day HR operations and long-term strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of operational HR experience, project management skills, and the ability to partner with leadership and teams across the business to create innovative HR solutions. A strong knowledge of employment law and compliance is essential.
- HR Strategy & Business Partnership: Partner with business leaders and department heads to align HR and talent acquisition strategy initiatives with the company’s goals and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and organisational development.
- End-to-End HR Support: Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, training and development, and offboarding.
- Project Management & Implementation: Lead and implement key HR projects aimed at driving efficiency, improving employee experience, and supporting business growth. This may include change management initiatives, leadership development programs, and HR process improvements.
- Compliance & Employment Law: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations. Provide advice and guidance to management on legal and regulatory matters.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by managing employee relations issues, handling conflict resolution, and supporting leadership in maintaining a productive culture.
- Data-driven decision-making: Use HR metrics to assess trends and identify areas for improvement in talent management, retention, and employee development.
- Continuously evaluate HR processes and procedures, recommending innovative solutions to streamline operations, improve employee satisfaction, and ensure business needs are met.
- Design HR processes and systems that can scale with the growth of the business, ensuring that HR infrastructure evolves alongside the organisation.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including time spent in a scale-up or fast-growth environment.
- Comprehensive HR Knowledge: Proven ability to manage both administrative HR tasks and long-term strategic HR projects.
- Employment Law & Compliance: Strong understanding of employment law and compliance issues.
- Project Management: Experience in leading and delivering HR projects from inception to completion.
- Relationship Building: Education: CIPD level 7 or a degree in Human Resources or a related field is essential.
- Experience in a scale-up or private equity-backed environment.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and other HR software tools.
- Strong understanding of employee engagement and retention strategies in a growing business.
