Credit Controller – 12 month FTC (Maternity cover) Remote (Must be able to commute to London once every quarter for business updates)
Salary range: £30,000-35,000p/a + benefits
Contract: 12 month FTC
Days/Hours: 8.30-5.30pm (Monday-Friday)
About the Role
This is a full time remote role for a Credit Controller on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role will support our Group Credit Controller, as high growth has increased our transactional volumes. Reporting to a Group Financial Controller, the successful individual would be responsible for a select portfolio of accounts where they would manage these from a collection, query management and reconciliation perspective.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for collection activities of all due and over-due invoices
- Manage credit control emails and respond to all queries
- Allocate payments in accordance with customer remittance using Xero system
- Liaise with finance and other internal teams to clarify and resolve the query, whilst ensuring process improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with main clients, including organising monthly calls
- Follow a clear escalation process and take ownership of all steps
- Keep accurate data with all relevant information using Excel
- Produce weekly credit control report with department KPIs
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with allocated customers
- Communicate regularly with the internal team – over the email and the phone

- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot
