Helix Offshore Crewing Services is recruiting experienced Trenching Technicians to join our offshore teams, supporting cable and pipeline burial and construction projects across the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. We are seeking proactive, safety-focused team players with strong technical skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest operational standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of trenching systems in an offshore environment. Our trenching operations primarily involve jet trenching and mechanical trenching systems, supporting subsea cable and pipeline installation projects throughout the North Sea and Europe. We offer stable offshore rotations and the opportunity to work on a range of specialised trenching vessels.
Applicants should have proven offshore experience as a Trenching Technician, with hands-on experience operating and maintaining systems such as SMD, Forum, or Osbit trenching equipment. Candidates with an electrical background are preferred. PLC knowledge and experience considered advantageous.
