We are looking to recruit a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at our Thruxton facility. Heliwork has over 50 years of experience in the rotary sector and is widely recognised for its maintenance of Bell and Leonardo aircraft. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a 20,000‐square‐foot hangar with specialised workshops for dynamic and hydraulic component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), as well as a 10,000‐square‐foot hangar dedicated to Leonardo blade repairs, introduced in 2020.

Successful candidates will hold at least one of the following UK CAA Part-66 type ratings: AW109, AB/B206, B429.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Department
  • Certify work within the limits of company authorisations
  • Carry out line and base maintenance at Heliwork facilities and off-site at customer locations when required
  • Perform all aircraft maintenance-related tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient business operations
  • Supervise engineering and support staff as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. CAA, EASA)
  • Maintain compliance with Continuing Professional Development requirements and company policies
  • Manage maintenance activities effectively within your area of responsibility
  • Competently use Microsoft-based computer systems
