Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before? Founded in 2013 by Dwayne D’Souza, HeliosX was built on a simple but powerful idea: healthcare should be easier to access, faster to receive, and centred around the individual. From day one, we’ve grown without external funding; scaling profitably through technology, disciplined execution, and deep medical expertise.
A key driver of our success is vertical integration; we operate our own manufacturing and proprietary products, led by in-house medical teams, researchers, and pharmacists at the top of their fields. In 2025, HeliosX treated more than 1.7 million patients globally and reached £781m in revenue, representing +337% year-on-year growth and cementing our position as the clear market leader in the UK.
This is growth with measurable, life-changing impact at scale. Today, we operate across four international markets, with successful launches in Germany and Canada and continued expansion in the US. We were also recently recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 fastest-growing tech companies, further validation of both our momentum and our ambition.
As a Prescribing Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in our mission by reviewing online dermatology consultations and prescribing topical and oral medications for both skin and hair consultations. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of pharmacists, nurses, and doctors, collaborating through weekly training sessions and clinical updates to ensure exceptional dermatology care.
- Utilise clinical judgement to review patient’s skin and hair consultations and prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Engage in email and phone consultations with patients, advising on treatment changes, answering queries and managing side effects.

Role Details:
- Part-Time: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day 5 days a week or 5 hours per day 4 days per week, one day must be on the weekend).
- Remote Work: Fully remote.
- Onboarding: Preferably full-time (37.5 hours) for the first two weeks before transitioning to standard hours.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current GPhC Registration: Essential with a minimum of 4 years experience as a pharmacist.
- Independent Prescribing Qualification: At least 2 years of experience.
- Dermatology Experience: Previous work experience or professional qualification in dermatology essential.
- Flexibility: Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, delivering both synchronous and asynchronous prescribing with confidence, while consistently meeting time-based metrics and achieving service level agreements.
