The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the transactional processing of the Group’s AP processes as well as assisting with cash management functions. This entry level position includes processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, dealing with employee expenses, reviewing and classifying bank transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with various departments to resolve discrepancies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage bank accounts across group including posting and reconciling, ensuring all transactions are recorded and categorised accurately
- Ensure payments are made in accordance with company policies and vendor terms
- Manage and maintain purchase ledger and dealing with supplier queries
- Processing invoices in a timely manner also reaching out to suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any invoicing issues
- Company credit card/employee expenses posting and reconciliations
- Build supplier relationships and ensure statement recs are performed on a regular basis
- Maintain meticulous filing systems
- Creating efficiencies & process improvements within the accounting department
What you'll bring to the role:
- Self motivated to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role preferable
- Experienced user of Excel / GoogleSheet capable of vlookup’s, pivot tables, sumifs, etc. Also the ability to present data in a practical and neat manner to various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
