The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Shift Manager to oversee the shift fulfilment operations at our newly opened UK Fulfilment Hub in Royal Leamington Spa. You will ensure customer promise dates and SLA are met, in line with cost to serve and quality targets across all brands in the UK. You and your team will collaborate with the Clinical, Supply Chain, and Customer Care teams to ensure operations remain compliant and high quality at all times. You will play a key role in launching and scaling the new hub which will be key to our continued success in 2025. This is a full time, permanent role, based on site in our warehouse.
What you’ll do:
- Team and Stakeholder Management: Oversee the in shift fulfilment operations at the site to ensure smooth running of operations. Line manage Team Leads ensuring all direct reports are accountable for their given targets. Collaborate with external stakeholders across Supply Chain, Pharmacy/Clinical, Customer Care, and Manufacturing functions. Perform 1-1 reviews and performance reviews with direct reports.
- Pharmacy and Fulfilment Operations: Ensure SOPs are followed and maintain a clean as you go policy. Manage an effective Resource Planning process. Ensure accurate training records are maintained and drive cross functional training. Manage the day to day relationship with warehouse and locum agencies. Ensure daily activities are accurately recorded. Responsible for daily reporting and driving process or performance improvements. Support the Operations Leadership team with continuous improvement and project work.
- Quality and Governance: Ensure operations remain compliant via clinical team guidance. Ensure processes are implemented in line with SOPs. Report in line with quality framework. Be responsible for ensuring SOP’s, SSOW and Risk Assessment are signed, updated, and reviewed.
- Warehouse Management: Take accountability for warehouse security and health and safety. Follow replenishment processes to ensure stock availability.
What you’ll bring to HeliosX:
- Experience as a Line or Shift Manager (ideally 5 years+) within a warehouse environment.
- Experience in high volume, fast moving complex D2C fulfilment environments.
- Strong understanding of operational excellence and process improvement.
- Strong leader with the ability to hold teams accountable to performance targets.
- Process and data driven with a good level of data literacy.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Safety Management experience.
- Process Improvement training advantageous.
