Our impressive growth this year is largely due to our weight loss offering launched at the start of 2024 through 2 brands, MedExpress and Levity. The role offers a salary of £54,500 per annum, (pro rata for part time), flexible hours between Mon-Sun, fully remote. Weekend work will be required on occasion.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work remotely using our secure Electronic Health Records System (EHR system) and ensure all information is treated confidentially.
- In accordance with the protocols set by HeliosX’s Medical team, evaluate patient consultations and determine whether patients should be prescribed treatment.
- Request further information from patients where needed to safely prescribe.
- Prescribe treatments to patients within the limit of your competencies.
- Complete concise and comprehensive notes on patient records where required.
- Complete own work efficiently and in accordance with the designated rota, supporting the team to meet customer demand.
- Provide timely feedback on any issues preventing the delivery of work.
- Follow provided operational protocols, for example the correct use of on-hold or rejection codes.
- Engage in team meetings & training sessions.
- Keep up to date with provided training materials and information.
- Keep up to date with prescribing requirements to maintain Independent Prescriber rights.
- Support patients by recommending methods for managing side effects as well as general clinical advice regarding weight loss treatments via email and telephone calls.
- Process GP letters by updating patient records with relevant information.
- Complete Patient Safety Incident (PSI) forms when appropriate to safety net patients.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- GPhC registration
- 6+ months of pharmacy experience
- Experience prescribing GLP1s would be a big plus
- Experience working in a telemedicine environment
- Experience prescribing according to pathways/protocols
- Experience using Customer Service tools such as Zendesk
- Excellent attention to detail
