Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?
Founded in 2013 by Dwayne D'Souza, HeliosX was built on a simple but powerful idea: healthcare should be easier to access, faster to receive, and centred around the individual. From day one, we’ve grown without external funding; scaling profitably through technology, disciplined execution, and deep medical expertise.
We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. In 2025, HeliosX helped treat over 1.7 million patients worldwide, reaching £781m in revenue, delivering +337% year-on-year growth.
We are looking for registered Doctors to join our established UK Digital Health service. This is a compelling opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact, UK-focused prescribing service, with a primary focus on our weight management programme.
In this role, you will:
- Remotely assess and evaluate patient consultations using secure audio-visual consultations (AVCs).
- Determine clinical suitability for treatment and issue prescriptions safely, ethically, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audio-visual consultations (AVCs) with patients to review their medical history, assess their suitability for treatment, and establish a clear clinical need.
- Use our asynchronous online platform to evaluate repeat patient consultations.
- Prescribe treatment in accordance with the clinical protocols set by HeliosX and strictly adhere to GMC guidelines and UK regulations.
- Request further information from patients where needed to safely prescribe, and complete accurate, concise clinical notes on patient records.
- Engage in regular team meetings and mandatory training sessions specific to UK practice.
- Maintain continuous professional development (CPD) and keep up to date with prescribing requirements.
- Work closely with our Customer Support team to provide patient support via email, phone call, or video consultation.
Requirements:
- Based in the United Kingdom with the right to work.
- Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a License to practice.
- A minimum of two years post-registration clinical experience is desirable.
- Experience managing patients with obesity and/or type 2 diabetes; experience with GLP-1s and weight management pathways is a significant advantage.
- Proven experience working in a digital health or telemedicine environment, specifically conducting Audio-Visual Consultations (AVCs).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Computer literate with a secure home working environment.

- Generous equity allocations with significant upside potential
- 25 Days Holiday (+ all the usual Bank Holidays)
- Private health insurance, along with extra dental and eye care cover
- Employee Pension with Smart Pensions
- Enhanced parental leave
- Cycle-to-work Scheme
- Electric Car Scheme
- Free Dermatica and MedExpress products every month, as well as family discounts
