Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?

How we started:

Back in 2013, our founder Dwayne D’Souza saw an opportunity to give people faster and more convenient access to medications using technology. We’ve grown rapidly since our inception, without any external funding whatsoever – achieving profitability through innovation and a highly disciplined approach to growth.

Where we are now:

We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Between 2023 and 2024 our global revenue tripled; £60m to £180m (300% year-on-year growth). We’re looking to do the same in 2025; move into new territories, and further accelerate our growth journey. There’s never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX.

Where we’re going:

Over the next five years, you’ll support our goal to become a world-leading healthcare partner, deepening our customer relationships, expanding into new countries, and diversifying our product portfolio to treat more conditions. You’ll be part of helping more people access prescription treatments and, most importantly, making personalised care better, quicker and easier for everyone.

The Opportunity

The Programme Planning Lead is a hands-on, senior level role focusing on delivering HeliosX's group wide annual planning cycle and critical cross-functional programmes that will transform our commercial and operational performance. You will manage a small, high impact team of Programme Managers bringing our strategy and plan to life. You will play a crucial role in how the organisation plans, prioritises, and executes its top initiatives, ensuring alignment and successful delivery while bridging strategy and execution. This is a permanent, full time position. The successful candidate will have a hybrid working arrangement, with 1-2 days per week based on site at our office in Central London.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the annual planning cycle, quarterly business reviews, and monthly performance routines to align the group on strategic objectives and timelines.
  • Own the rhythm of planning meetings and workshops, aligning meeting frequencies, objectives, and schedules with the rhythm of the business to optimise team output and efficiency.
  • Drive cross-functional working with key business units to align strategic priorities with operational and financial plans, ensuring initiatives support the company’s overarching goals.
  • Partner with FP&A to connect planning efforts with key metrics such as topline growth, EBITDA, and Cost to Serve.
  • Ensure all programmes have defined goals, success metrics, delivery plans, and clear ownership, promoting accountability and driving outcomes with a focus on timely execution, measurable results, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Create presentation materials and key communications for leadership, cross-functional teams, and the wider business, ensuring clarity and alignment across outcomes.
  • Identify and address delivery blockers, escalating when needed to ensure momentum and decision-making at the right level.
  • Line manage and mentor our Programme Management team.
  • Promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, while acting as a thought partner to leadership to refine strategy and performance.

What you’ll bring to HeliosX:

  • Leadership experience in programme management, business operations (biz ops), and/or strategy and planning.
  • Experience working in related fields such as health care, tech/product based businesses, consulting, or ecommerce/DTC.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross functional programmes, with multiple stakeholders, in ambiguous and fast changing environments, driving business outcomes.
  • Experience managing projects across a wide range of functions, including Product, Operations, Tech, marketing and/or Clinical.
  • Highly knowledgeable in planning and performance cycles (OKRs, annual planning, quarterly reviews, etc.); prior experience setting the rhythm of business.
  • Strong data literacy, analytical problem solving, and critical thinking skills to identify issues early and provide effective solutions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proven experience partnering with stakeholders up to board level.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects forward even in uncertain or changing business conditions.
  • Ability to be resilient and maintain momentum in the face of setbacks and conflicting priorities.
