Overview: Reporting to the Digital Programme Manager, the PMO Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting portfolio governance, delivery coordination and PMO operations across the Digital Innovation team. The role will focus on maintaining effective governance structures, supporting financial and operational controls, and ensuring the successful coordination of transformation and digital delivery initiatives.

Role Responsibilities: As a PMO Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining integrated portfolio reporting artefacts, including delivery status updates, risks, dependencies and key portfolio insights.
- Coordinating governance activities across digital transformation programmes, including steering committees, checkpoints and approvals.
- Supporting portfolio-level budget tracking, forecasting and financial reporting activities.
- Managing vendor contract commitments, purchase orders, invoice approvals and financial controls in line with approved budgets and business processes.
- Providing financial analysis and reporting insights to Programme Managers and Delivery Managers.
- Leading day-to-day PMO and portfolio operational activities across the Digital Innovation team.
- Maintaining portfolio tools, templates, trackers and project artefacts to ensure consistency across programmes.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and governance practices.
- Coordinating delivery activities across selected high-risk and high-impact initiatives.
- Supporting project planning, risk management, dependency management and governance activities across transformation projects.
Requirements for the Role: To succeed in the role, you will be/have:
- At least 5 years’ experience within IT PMO, project planning or project management environments supporting digital transformation programmes.
- Proven experience working within a PMO, portfolio or programme management environment.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating delivery activities across multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience supporting governance forums and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing operational processes including vendor management, budget tracking, purchase order governance and invoice processing.
- Strong organisational, planning and project coordination skills with a structured and proactive approach.
- Experience working across matrix organisations and multiple teams or geographies.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environments.
- Experience using project management and planning tools such as Wrike, JIRA or similar platforms.
- Formal project management certification such as MSP, PRINCE2 or equivalent would be advantageous.
