This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will design and execute test strategies, develop automated testing frameworks, and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on quality metrics
- Ensure software meets quality standards, security requirements, and user expectations
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
