This is a remote position.
We are seeking a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to help build, automate, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure software development and deployment environments.
The Dev Ops Engineer will work closely with development, operations, cloud, and security teams to streamline software delivery, improve system reliability, and automate infrastructure and deployment processes.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability and troubleshoot infrastructure or deployment issues.
Implement and maintain security, access controls, backup, and disaster recovery practices within Dev Ops environments.
Collaborate with software developers to improve application deployment, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, reduce manual processes, and increase deployment efficiency.
Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis to prevent recurring production issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
~2+ years of experience in Dev Ops, cloud engineering, systems administration, software engineering, or a related technical role.
~ Experience working with Linux/Unix-based operating systems and command-line environments.
~ Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
~ Understanding of networking, security, system administration, and software development lifecycle principles.
~ Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD, or Azure Dev Ops.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Cloud Watch.
Relevant cloud or Dev Ops certifications are an advantage.
