Contract: 4 on 4 off | 6:00am – 6:00pm | Permanent Position

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine monitoring and verification of site food safety and quality compliance, including structured daily QA checks, GMP audits, line hygiene checks, traceability activities and process record compliance.
  • Manage non-conformances and support proactive concession processes, including root cause analysis with relevant teams and the communication of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Verify HACCP, Food Safety systems and site pre-requisite programmes under the guidance of the QA Manager.
  • Conduct routine audits in line with the Quality schedule, including internal audits, glass and brittle plastic audits, GMP, Food Safety, HACCP and Quality audits.
  • Support external pest control audits across the site.
  • Assist with creating, updating and implementing Quality Management System (QMS) documentation including SOPs, Visual Guides, OPLs and Quality Assurance Standards.
  • Review and maintain site Hold & Release processes alongside Quality and Operations teams.
  • Deliver training and support on QMS policies and procedures.
  • Participate in wider Quality activities, including laboratory support where required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a QA role and/or food manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of Food Safety, HACCP and GMP principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Confidence communicating with colleagues across departments and supporting site standards.
