The Study Support Department comprises a large team of dedicated and professional staff, committed to the support of students with a wide range of specific learning difficulties. It has a very strong reputation, both within and outside the College, for the quality of its work.
This is a rare opportunity for a qualified teacher to join the team as a specialist SpLD Teacher/Assessor. You must have a teaching qualification, including an SpLD teaching qualification (Level 5) and hold either a current Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Assessment Practising Certificate or a post-graduate qualification (Level 7) in individual assessment. Experience in teaching students with SpLDs in the post-16 sector and assessing under JCQ regulations is highly desirable.
