The role is responsible for owning OXO product and merchandising strategy across all EMEA channels, driving growth through data-led insights and market understanding. Reporting to the Associate Director of Product & Merchandising EMEA, this position leads the development and execution of OXO's 5-Year Strategic Plan, informs global product management on regional opportunities, and oversees go-to-market processes. By optimizing product portfolios, managing seasonal assortments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role ensures alignment with global strategies while maximizing revenue, margin, and consumer relevance in the EMEA market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & implement OXO's 5Y Strategic plan, in line with Global and EMEA strategic plans and in close collaboration with Sales & Brand marketing team leaders.
  • Drives the planning & adoption of the EMEA seasonal line-plan for OXO.
  • Responsible for timely communication into the Global Product Creation Teams during the seasonal Product and Merchandising Process with support from Senior Product & Merchandising Manager when needed.
  • Owns the delivery of the seasonal product assortment fuelling all channels of distribution against set KPIs and revenue targets. Responsible for Product Lifecycle.
  • Coordinates with Global Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations & Regulatory, acquiring and broadcasting information throughout the process of concept creation through to GTM.
  • Sets seasonal OXO EMEA pricing to achieve targeted Gross Pricing Margin (GPM%).
  • Collaborates with Demand Planning and Sales to ensure accurate forecasting at key GTM stages.
  • From a Product and Merchandising perspective, leads seasonal portfolio rationalization alongside Commercial / Marketing Teams.
  • Drives OXO Product line effectiveness at a SKU level in terms of styles, colours, sizes and range structure.
  • Analyses and communicates Competitor's product build, pricing structures and GTM strategies. Highlighting opportunities to Global Team on how to maximize OXO market potential.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Team on creative concepts ensuring product alignment.
  • Utilising marketplace data to make informed product & merchandising decisions.
  • Leading and developing the merchandising plan around product launches.
  • Analyses competitor products to fully understand market opportunities, product requirements and channel needs.
  • Briefing new business opportunities into OXO Global Product Management and develops robust GTM plans, alongside Sales and Marketing, to execute these opportunities in EMEA.
  • Utilising past sales performance along with market data and product/consumer knowledge to create product forecasts.
  • Identifying market trends and is the "eyes & ears" of the Global Product Team in EMEA.
  • Acting as the expert on the houseware and relevant consumer goods markets' insights & competitive landscape; market channels & tiers; product architecture and RRP price brackets; the seasonal retail cadence in e.com and B&M.
  • You will be the authority on the product function, details and components in EMEA and presents this information to the other EMEA functions.
  • Undertaking seasonal market travel to keep up to date with marketplace and consumer trends (budget allowing).
  • Presenting the seasonal line to Sales and Marketing etc. at GTM & Sales Meetings and is seen as the key representative of global product creation in EMEA.
  • Leading concise internal and external product Training to functions / Accounts that need this information to deliver in their roles.
  • Assisting in Product preview/pre-lines with key retailers during early seasonal presentations.
  • Attending trade shows, customer meetings / in-store clinics, sales meetings, and product meetings to deliver product presentations either alone, alongside the P&M Team or in support of Sales Managers.
  • Responsible for the Portfolio compliance by partnering closely with Regulatory & Legal teams to ensure continuous EMEA compliance for new and existing products and ensure necessary requirements are applied to guarantee business continuity.
  • Partnering with Sales, Sales Ops, DP & Sourcing, Finance, Marketing and Online Teams to report upon the business with accurate data. This includes leading seasonal teardown meetings from a product and merchandising perspective.
  • Maintaining and updating product records in relevant systems ensuring EMEA product data is accurate.
  • Communicating with GTM & Global Product Management Teams to ensure data is accurately represented for EMEA.
  • Interfacing with the Regulatory, Customer Service, Creative, Sales and Marketing teams regarding product specification and labelling needs as required.
  • Acting as the Product & Merchandising 'go-to' for the Sales, Creative, Web and Marketing Teams on the creation of the Workbook, website any other marketing material as needed.
  • Contribute product content and product copy writing for the Marketing and Online teams.

Skills Needed To Be Successful In This Role

  • Experience in housewares, or consumer goods would be ideal.
  • Experience in line-planning; seasonal assortment building, product flow, channel differentiation and segmentation, launching products & technologies, concept briefing.
  • Knowledge of product creation and manufacture - including materials & construction methods, retail selling experience; sell in / sell through analysis & reporting, product costs, margin management, demand planning, e.com. project, program management experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership qualities, organized and a team player.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree or field related experience ideally 4+ years in related experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United Kingdom on a full-time basis.
