Assistant Shop Manager
Helen & Douglas House, a registered hospice charity based in Oxford, is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager for our Summertown shop.

Summertown, Oxford
Pay & Hours
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week (worked as 3 out of 7 days, including weekend rota)
- Salary: £15,052.20 per annum (full‑time equivalent salary of £25,087 per annum)
- Closing date: 22nd January 2026 at 12 noon
Responsibilities
- Join a busy shop and work alongside volunteers to maximise sales profits.
- Provide excellent customer service and support volunteers.
- Manage volunteer teams in varied situations.
- Work 7 days a week with weekend rota; flexible working patterns may change.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in charity retail or customer service preferred.
- Good eye for detail, strong organisational and IT skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
