Overview

Join us as an Assistant Shop Manager in our Windsor shop and become an ambassador for our charity.

Base pay range

  • Hours: 15 hours per week (2 days) with some weekend working on a rota basis.
  • Location: Windsor
  • Salary: £10,034.80 per annum (full time equivalent salary: £25,087 per annum (pro rata)).
  • Closing date: 13th November 2025 at 12 noon

Responsibilities

  • Assist to merchandise the shop on a regular basis and work alongside a team of paid staff and volunteers to maximise sales profits.
  • Support manual handling of donations and stock as part of daily shop operations.
  • Deliver great customer service and contribute to a positive shop environment.
  • Work with Shop Manager and Area Manager to achieve objectives.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, High Street Retail or ideally Charity Retail is helpful for hitting the ground running.
  • Full training is provided; willingness to learn specific skills is important.
  • Good eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and capability to manage volunteer teams in various situations.
  • Flexibility to work weekends on a rota basis and to adapt working patterns as needed.

Additional information

  • The Windsor shop opens 7 days a week; some weekend work required.
  • We reimburse travel costs up to £20 per working day (no company parking).
