This is a full-time on-site position based in London for an Investment Accountant. The Investment Accountant will manage and oversee financial reporting, budget preparation, and analysis to support the investment operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Preparing valuations for investments based on established valuation processes
  • Generating month-end NAVs for investment vehicles
  • Coordinating audits and maintaining accurate investment records

Qualifications

  • Strong technical accounting skills, including financial reporting and compliance
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis and investment record management
  • Experience in investment valuation, particularly credit and royalty finance
  • Knowledge of tax compliance and audit processes
  • Experience with financial systems and proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly desirable
  • Investment analysis or reporting qualifications such as CFA or CAIA would be beneficial
  • Experience in legal finance or investment accounting is a plus
