This is a full-time on-site position based in London for an Investment Accountant. The Investment Accountant will manage and oversee financial reporting, budget preparation, and analysis to support the investment operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Preparing valuations for investments based on established valuation processes
- Generating month-end NAVs for investment vehicles
- Coordinating audits and maintaining accurate investment records
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills, including financial reporting and compliance
- Proficiency in financial data analysis and investment record management
- Experience in investment valuation, particularly credit and royalty finance
- Knowledge of tax compliance and audit processes
- Experience with financial systems and proficiency in accounting software
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly desirable
- Investment analysis or reporting qualifications such as CFA or CAIA would be beneficial
- Experience in legal finance or investment accounting is a plus
