Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role (some hybrid / flexible work arrangements possible) for a Senior Accountant located in the Temple area of London. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee daily accounting operations, which include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing ledger entries, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. They will also handle tax compliance, budgeting, and facilitate audits. The accounting team is small, and so this is very much a hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in preparing financial statements, account reconciliation, and managing ledger entries
• Experience in tax compliance, budgeting, and facilitating audits
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills
• Knowledge of accounting software (Xero) and budgeting / forecasting / reporting / expense approval add-ons.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a dynamic on-site setting
• Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA/CIMA or equivalent certification is preferred
• Experience in the legal or investment/lending industries or with consumer protection claims is a plus
