Are you looking to grow your career in Finance? Do you want to join a dynamic team with a proven track record of internal growth and career advancement opportunities? We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Category Finance Manager to join our Finance team, based in Southbank.

Key position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering the Year
  • Preparing and analysing actual and forecasted performance using variance analysis to arrive at root causes and action plans
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and Trade Finance to vet financials of customer-facing opportunities and assess trade spend issues
  • Act as the gatekeeper of the cluster P & L by challenging the sales team to optimize financial results and paybacks, develop and execute plans to control supply chain losses, costing analysis, and oversee portfolio initiatives such as new product development projects
  • Own and support the marketing heads of cluster to drive the P&L including in NPD building business cases, running Cluster WIP and delivering the innovation pipeline
  • Add value to the business by ensuring cross-functional teams receive timely information and understand its implications to support great business decisions
  • Corporate Reporting
  • Support the Monthly Performance Reporting, ensuring that business drivers of cluster performance vs plan and prior year are clearly understood and communicated to key stakeholders using Price Volume Mix analysis
  • Support the monthly forecasting process ensuring that forecasts loaded by the ANZ sales team at cluster/category level are sensible vs. plan and prior periods
  • Support the annual budget process and presentation for the portfolio
  • Planning the Future
  • Preparing inputs for and analysing financial forecast, Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan including zero based budgeting
  • Own the business cases for new products and renovation/innovation providing a financial view and coordinating inputs across the functions
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing in development of innovation P & Ls
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations to enable complete business reporting and understanding

  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals
  • Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and work in a way that contributes to the company's vision

What you'll bring:

  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access highly regarded
  • Systems knowledge such as Tableau, Demantra, JDA, SAP, IRi tools (i.e. Temple, UNIFY), Quantium highly regarded
  • 5 + years' work experience that complements financial training, experience in FCMG is desirable
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or other numerical discipline
  • CA/CPA is desirable
  • Passionate and driven about delivering results
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to assess data and arrive at root cause, with ability to succinctly explain key drivers to senior audience
  • Ability to business partner with head of clusters to drive both the long term portfolio evolution and short term delivery of the P&L
  • Ability to think strategically about data and translate this thinking into the 'so what'
  • Problem-solving mentality with ability to navigate a high pace environment
