Trading Area & Facilities

This is a two-room operation serviced by one bar, the real fire creates a warm cosy ambience. There is a conservatory, leading to a good-sized outside paved area. The function room is at the rear of the property. A good-sized, equipped catering kitchen caters for the 40 covers in the main bar but can cater for double the capacity when the function room is in use. There are a decent-sized patio and astroturfed areas with fixed seating. The large car park offers easy access.

Established Community Pub

The Waggon and Horses sits in a prominent position on Mansfield Road, the A60 to Nottingham. Its location makes it perfect for capturing the passing trade. 1 mile from the town centre and 3.4 miles from Nottingham city centre. This is a lovely pub surrounded by houses and local businesses in the heart of the community. The pub is well known for their excellent range of cask ales sourced from local, regional and national breweries. A quality selection of lagers, wines & spirits, even teas and coffees support the ales. Excellent home-cooked Sunday roasts are popular with the local community. There is an opportunity to develop the food offer across the week. A regular entertainment package including quizzes, karaoke etc. will help to drive trade. The lovely function room on the ground floor is great for music events, themed occasions and general functions.
