About The Role: As the Shift Leader, you’ll report into the Line Leader of the area and play a central role in ensuring our colleagues on the production line continue to exude brilliance in every task they endeavour. With experience in managing people, you’ll engage with your teams to ensure that every colleague feels supported in their own professional and personal development, whilst also fostering collaboration with your peers for a functional & operating site; in adherence to our Total Productive Management (TPM) principles as a guiding framework.
Your Main Responsibilities Also Include:
- Champion behavioural safety, hazard identification, and resolution to ensure safe working practices and achieve site safety targets.
- Manage occupational health, wellbeing, and attendance to maintain a safe and effective workforce.
- Drive high performance through effective communication, performance management, and regular development reviews.
- Deliver departmental KPI targets to ensure optimum operational results.
- Strengthen collaboration with TPM stakeholders and ensure correct application of TPM principles.
- Lead and promote participation in Autonomous Maintenance and loss reduction activities to sustain performance.
- Develop team capability through structured training and assessment programmes.

From barley to bar, our Supply Chain produces high-quality beers and ciders, prioritising safety, sustainability and innovation to keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll be based within the broader packaging team, focused on keeping our bottling, canning and other lines running smoothly and efficiently. Your role contributes to ensuring machinery is reliable, well‑maintained and safe, while also anticipating future needs and driving fresh, innovative improvements to increase the site’s overall output.
Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a proactive leader who can inspire and motivate others to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have:
- Packaging and FMCG exposure: Previous experience working in a fast‑paced environment or automated packaging line within Supply Chain, will help you succeed and empower those around you.
- TPM Know-How: A solid understanding of Total Productive Maintenance principles.
- People Management Skills: A proven track record of leading teams with a supportive, engaging leadership style.
- Laser‑Focused on Safety: A solid commitment to health and safety with exceptional attention to detail.
- Educational achievements: although not mandatory, having a theoretical understanding of Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing principles through a bachelor’s degree or diploma packaging, food sciences will supplement your practical exposure and application to get the job done!
