Trading Area & Facilities
The pub has been transformed, opening up all trading areas to increase the flow of the business. The pub has an open plan layout with a bar and dining area both serviced by a central bar servery. The dining area has a seating capacity of c 70 covers and its bi-folding doors lead out to an amazing beer garden. The beer garden will increase the covers by c 120. The outside trading area comprises of an array of seating and with festoon lighting and heaters, this will allow this space to be utilised all year round. The new catering kitchen has the capacity for c190 covers. The site has a large car park to the side of the pub. The Railway is located in the heart of the community of Lye, on a busy main road close to great transport links. This premier local is three quarters the way through a £300,000 investment, which will transform the Railway bringing new life back to the pub. Soon family and friends will be able to relax while enjoying a drink or a delicious bite to eat in these amazing warm and welcoming surroundings.
The refurbishment has a big focus on the transformation of the current beer garden. With new outside heaters and festooned with lights, the garden area will be able to trade all year round. The Railway will have the best family-friendly outside trading area for miles around. It will also increase the number of covers by c120.
