About the role
As the Operator, you’ll be responsible for championing safety principles as this is crucial for all of our colleagues on site; every task, proactive activities carried out, safety is always first! You’ll also be heavily involved in understanding our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) of the sites’ processes, and operating machinery to support the wider Logistics operations.
In a nutshell, your responsibilities include:
- Operating Forklift Trucks (Counterbalance) within a warehouse environment for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Utilising Inventory Management Systems to monitor stock / raw material levels and ensure data entered is accurate & up to date.
- Focus on delivering First Time Right (FTR) on quality aspects & processes.
- Working & Co-ordinating work with your peers, fostering a collaborative & efficient way of working.
- Providing high standards of customer service to production areas & public customers by dealing with & resolving queries.

From barley to bar, our Supply Chain produces high-quality beers and ciders, prioritising safety, sustainability and innovation to keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll be based within the broader Customer, Logistics & Planning team, responsible for ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly across transportation, procurement, warehouse operations and much more! We take pride in consistently delivering the highest-quality brews to customers nationwide.
Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a highly proactive and organised individual, who thrives in fast paced & dynamic environments, seeks out practical & efficient solutions as well as communicating effectively with their peers. As well as the above, the ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years’ experience within a production setting; ideally a Warehouse environment.
- 1 years proven experience operating Counterbalance FLT’s.
- Prior use of Microsoft Office Suite; ERP or SAP is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Laser-Focused on Safety: A solid commitment to health and safety with exceptional attention to detail.
