This is an exciting leadership opportunity within our Brewing department. You'll bring your expertise in asset care and maintenance best practices to the forefront and play a key role in developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies that drive reliability, performance, and efficiency across our brewing operations.
You’ll lead and coach a team of Technicians and Maintenance Planners, empowering them to deliver world‑class asset reliability through continuous improvement. With TPM at the heart of our methodology, your success will be measured through clear improvements in key performance indicators.
The role focuses on ensuring compliance with all safety and statutory requirements while managing and prioritising the day‑to‑day activities of all engineering personnel, whether direct, indirect, or contract. You’ll oversee the effective delivery of maintenance services across the brewing operations, ensure optimal use of the site CMMS, and drive the execution of the weekly maintenance plan.
As the budget holder for repairs and maintenance, you’ll be accountable for managing spending wisely, always focusing on value and performance.
We’re looking for a skilled problem solver and excellent people manager who is driven by results. Ideally, you’ll be a highly motivated and safety‑conscious electrical and automation qualified engineer with experience implementing new ways of working, challenging traditions, and leading a team through change. We’re also looking for a skilled people manager who can coach, develop, and motivate team members to reach their potential and perform to achieve optimum asset reliability.
On top of this, we’re looking for someone who has the following:
- A positive outlook with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience of leading a high performing team
- Experience with complex process control systems who can demonstrate sustained business improvements
- Experience using structured maintenance development techniques
- IOSH / NEBOSH Qualifications
- Experience of TPM
