Customer Development Executive – Basingstoke / Chippenham (M4 Corridor)

Location: Field Based – M4 Corridor due to the nature of the work and to ensure you can achieve the right work-life balance, we’re looking for someone who lives in or close to this area.
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

About the role
Reporting to the Customer Development Director, this exciting role covers the M4 Corridor from the Chippenham to the Basingstoke regions. You’ll be involved in dynamic collaboration with team members and influential stakeholders, and support the achievement of developing a profitable market share and increasing the availability & appeal of our brands to consumers. The core of the role focuses on driving incremental net distribution by retaining the current brand footprint and unlocking incremental opportunities, ensuring that our iconic beers and ciders find their way to consumers through the best pubs and bars in the region.
Key accountabilities:
- Prioritising calls to strategically important accounts, spending time where maximum impact can be gained.
- Sell our iconic brand propositions to outlet decision-makers with passion – ensuring alignment with the outlet type and brand positioning.
- Identify appropriate outlets for marketing activity and deliver brilliant execution of promotional campaigns.
Who we’re looking for
This role is fast-paced and requires flexibility in its approach. You’ll need to adapt your selling style and tools according to the customer and channel. This can be done by building quick, quality relationships with customers. We need someone with a real passion for brands, able to story tell and discuss our portfolio with the enthusiasm it deserves.

Experience in pubs and beer isn’t essential for this role and we actively encourage people with a passion for excellence in execution in any industry to apply! We’re always thinking about the future, and we know that to keep up with our customer's demands we need to be socially and digitally aware. We’re looking for somebody who knows their way around Instagram and other social media platforms and understands how this can help your customers and help you in creating your own personal brand.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Ideally, you'll have at least 3 months of professional driving experience, but if you don't, that's fine. We'll provide full on-road driver training during your first few months with us.
