About the role

As the Technical Operator, you’ll approach the production line with a lean mindset and positive attitude. We need motivated self‑starters who will be proactive in taking ownership of their area.

  • Operate and maintain high‑speed brewing machinery and automated systems safely and efficiently, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the production process.
  • Conduct laboratory analysis at key process stages, delivering First Time Right (FTR) standards and taking swift corrective action when required.
  • Manage stock levels accurately using SAP, and handle raw materials and processing aids in line with recipe specifications.
  • Set up and manage process pipework and routing equipment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the plant.
  • Use process knowledge to identify root causes of deviations or equipment issues, escalating where necessary and preventing recurrence.
  • Work collaboratively across shift teams to ensure smooth handovers and continuity of production.
  • Actively contribute to our Zero Accident Culture and drive continuous improvement through our Total Productive Management (TPM) programme.

Qualifications and experience

We’re seeking an individual familiarised with working in a production facility or an automated manufacturing environment.

  • Qualifications in Maths & English GCSE’s.
  • Good understanding of IT Systems.
  • Previous brewing experience preferred (not essential).
  • Passion to learn!
