Focused Joinery, a bespoke joinery company specialising in retail, hospitality, corporate and accommodation sectors, is recruiting a Senior Joiner. This workshop‑based role offers varied, one‑of‑a‑kind projects and the chance to work with premium timbers such as American White Oak, Tasmanian Oak and Ash.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate veneer, laminate and curved work, and other advanced joinery elements.
  • Create bespoke, fully customised pieces for a diverse client base.
  • Collaborate with an experienced Workshop Manager and share knowledge with the team.
  • Maintain high‑quality standards and precision workmanship.

Qualifications

  • NZ Qualified Joiner or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years high‑end joinery experience.
  • Proven technical aptitude and confidence with advanced techniques.
  • Friendly team player with a positive attitude.
  • Own basic hand and battery tools (additional tools provided).
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (sponsorship not available).

Additional Information

Applicants may be required to undertake pre‑employment alcohol and drug testing.
