We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Mount Operator / IPAF HGV Operator. This is an exceptional opportunity for a flexible and driven individual to build a career with a leading provider of Truck Mount hire services and enjoy market-leading rates and benefits.
As a specialist Truck Mount Operator, you will utilize our vehicle-mounted hoists (46mt, 70mt & 90mt Bronto) for a range of clients. This role requires a high level of flexibility regarding working hours, weekend work, and being away from home. We reward this flexibility with overtime, overnight allowances, and height allowances.
Duties
- Drive and operate vehicle-mounted hoists at client sites and premises
- Carry out checks on machines to ensure equipment is safe to operate
- Ensure the highest standard of Health & Safety for customers, colleagues, and the general public
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate paperwork
- Provide a high standard of customer service and support
- Additional yard work as required when not operating for customers
The Person
- Valid HGV / Class C Driving Licence is essential
- IPAF tickets are desirable, but we can provide training to obtain them if necessary
- Previous experience operating powered access equipment
- Strong geographical knowledge of the territory to be covered
- Flexible regarding travel and working unsociable hours
- Courteous and customer-focused
- Flexible to work away from home and weekends
- No issue with working at height
