Responsibilities
- Receive and log breakdown and assistance requests from customers
- Provide phone support on our hire fleet at first point of contact
- Direct mobile service engineers to site breakdowns and provide information via our internal recording system
- Assess information from service calls
- Gather information from service calls, customer assistance requests, depot engineers, and manufacturers of machinery
- Create internal bulletins to reduce and eliminate call outs and breakdowns
- Create, maintain, and update procedures within the technical support department
- Update and monitor internal and external bulletins and communicate these to all service engineers
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Agent to join our Technical Support Department and provide support to customers on our High Drive access platform machines, based in Astley, Manchester. Full training will be given, and with ongoing training and development, you will support our full range of High Drive machines across the UK.
